The title says it all. I found another place to live. The deal was settled yesterday and I'm moving out of this place tomorrow. Phew, was a close one. The new place is not that far from here, but it's only a room, so I have to share bath and kitchen with 5-6 other people. But that's allright. I can live with that for a time ( Read more... )

I CAME ACROSS A PAGE ON THE INTERNET WITH YOUR NAME. YOU SOUND LIKE A REALLY GOOD PERSON WHO ENJOYS HELPING PEOPLE. WELL, I HAVE LIVED IN TURKEY FOR 7 YEARS NOW AND WORK AT A SCHOOL WHICH IS INVOLVED WITH AN EKO PROJECT AS WELL AS AN ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMME. WE ARE TEAMED UP WITH AUSTRIA, SPAIN, ITALY, LITHUANIA AND POLAND FOR THE NEXT YEAR BUT BECAUSETHE COMENIUS PROGRAMME RULES A THREE YEARS MAXIMUM PERIOD WITH THE SAME GROUPS, WE MUST FIND NEW GROUPS TO JOIN WITH. TO BE HOEST I SUPPOSE I AM CLUTCHING AT STRAWS BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED GETTING IN TOUCH WITH OTHER SCHOOLS BUT MY E-MAILS NEVER GET THERE. THE PROGRAMME IS FOR 11 TO 16 YEAR OLD DTUDENTS. IT IS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND THERE IS NO MONEY NEEDED. THE SCHOOLS IN EACH GROUP WORK TOGETHER TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT. IN RETURN FOR THE SCHOOLS COOPERATION, THE COMENIUS PROGRAMME PAYS FOR VISITS TO THE OTHER COUNTRIES ALL EXPENSES PAID INCLUDING FOOD ETC.
