The Jock:
Lee Donghae sat under a large tree near the soccer field, doing her homework in the shade. She was listening to her iPod when suddenly there was a large WHAM above her head.
She ducked instinctively as a soccer ball fell next to her, rolling away.
“Yah, Lee Hyukjae, if you hit me you die!” Donghae yelled as she jumped to her feet, grabbing the ball before the boy’s soccer team could take it.
Lee Hyukjae, or Eunhyuk as everyone called him, jogged over. “Pass it,” he said, sweat causing his shirt to stick to his back from practice.
Donghae stuck her tongue out. “No,” she said, grinning. When Eunhyuk moved to take it she danced away, smirking. “Don’t come near me! You smell like soybean paste!” She teased.
Eunhyuk laughed, chasing after her. “Lee Donghae, give me the soccer ball!” He said as he chased her around the tree, ignoring the laughter of the rest of the soccer team. The soccer team knew how close their captain was to Donghae. They were practically siblings.
Donghae popped her head around the side of the tree, grinning. “Only if I get to play.”
Eunhyuk sighed, losing his energy. “Not this again, Hae,” he said, sighing.
She frowned, pouting. “Come on Hyukkie, you’re the captain! You should be able to talk to the coach.”
Eunhyuk just sighed and took the soccer ball from her. He knew she was just as good as anyone on the boy’s team, but she was a girl. There wasn’t anything he could do. “I’ll see you later, Hae,” he said and ruffled her hair before walking back to his team.
Donghae scowled after him, making faces at him behind his back before sitting moodily back to her spot under the tree. She attempted to work on her homework but instead drew Hyukjae’s face on the back with a giant soccer ball about to crush him.
“Boys,” she grumbled moodily. She’d try again tomorrow.
