I sent a support ticket around the time I saw the first report on LJ. They responded pretty quick for a policy adjustment; it does indeed look like they ripped it out almost immediately when stuff hit the fan. Boy, that NEVER happens, it's kind of nice for a change.

Thanks! I'm also glad to see the LJ staff acted quickly on this. I would imagine that the code eventually returns, although hopefully at least fixed not to apply to paid/permanent accounts....

If you're using Firefox and have AdBlock Plus, this filter will take care of it:
*/dRev.js
Should block it from any site, not just LJ. As long as the filename stays "dRev.js" ;)

And I'd never run Firefox without Adblock Plus. :D That, and Tab Mix Plus are my two essentials. :)
