You forgot to mention how brilliant Martin Freeman is as Bilbo! ;)

Yeah, the troll snot... I could have done without that too! But that's a very minor complaint. I thoroughly enjoyed myself during this film!

Brilliant, I can't wait to see it now. I'm supposed to see it on Christmas day with my family and I will, but in the meantime, I am itching to see it.

I made a point of seeing it by myself because anybody else interested in going with me was going to by purist and hypercritical. Which is not to say that your family would be because they know you better than that!
