we should have breakfast/gym this week, i will answer all of your questions. well, not really, but would love to discuss them more thoroughly. i will however affirm that yes, facebook is the new livejournal.
p.s. i have harmonica classes on monday mornings, so i can do that class, but now that i'm not working, i can try all these evening classes!
i think most of these questions are all from the same place: trying to use outside things to fill an inside void. since the outside things are quick fixes (or non-permanent fixes), they will ultimately fail to fill the hole. have you tried reading any pema chodron? i'd love to talk about this more in person. i have known how it feels.
as for livejournal vs. facebook...yes and no. i don't like when more substantive discussions/disclosures of feelings happen on livejournal. it seems lost in the quickness of it all. livejournal feels quieter, slower, more deliberate. i think facebook is a quick distraction to the day, whereas livejournal is for more deliberate reflection. different.
re facebook: except my mom isn't on livejournal, nor are my four little cousins i used to babysit who are now huge beefcake-y men who live in las vegas and san diego.
