we all know the stereotype of the person who invents a totally fictitious online persona.
but are you more honest online, or 'in real life', for example at work, school, or with your family?

most of the people i feel close to are online (although i've met many of them), and i'm more honest here than i am with people at work, or family.

Definitely more honest online. The only time I'd lie is maybe if I didn't want to bother people with my pissy moods though usually people can see right through me. I find I'm much more sympathetic and nicer to my online contacts than people I know in real life too.

probably online. honest with a higher percentage of online than offline people, anyway.
