Imagine being a Kuwabara fan and not getting to see him for the entire Makai arc!!!
(Although I think it makes all the sense of the world that he didn't go, and I'm glad Togashi had the guts to write it that way instead of coming up with a dumb reason just to keep the quartet together. IMHO, Kazuma's decision to take his own path only exalts the character's strength. But I did miss him anyway.)
I was shocked to see Kurama in the flashbacks, though. And I know quite a few Kuwabara fans who are gonna be so envious of Kurama and Hiei 'cause they're gonna be shown more than Kuwabara.
Besides, someone needs to stay behind and keep Yukina company. And who better than Kazuma Kuwabara? ^_^;;;
