Okay, so here's an update on my dealings. As of now, I'm moved into a new place in rural Edwardsville, IL. I'm in a house that I'm sharing with another person. Might seem awkward to some, but for me, the $250 per month rent will be well worth it. My roommate's not bad, though. We get along just fine. Awesome!!! I'm thinking about maybe getting a roommate again. I can't help but be hesitant due to my previous roommate experience. Ugh...just thinking about it makes my blood boil. I'm so glad things are working out with you and your roommate. What I've learned from my experiences is that you don't have to be best friends...or even friends at all. Just as long as there's a mutual respect for each other and pay rent/utilities on time!

There definitely is a mutual respect between the two of us...well, soon to be three as we're getting a third roommate soon.

Sweeeeet! Glad to hear an update from ya.

So you're roughly on step...3 it looks like! Time to start bankin' that cash! I just realized something. It seems we're both trying to save the same amount of money for a big move...lol. May we both be the best and win!!

Roughly on Step 3 of Operation: California Move. Going to take a little longer than I anticipated, but I will be in Sacramento next February. Not going to miss the Midwest at any point once I leave.

Just need to get my van fixed up since I recently banged it up on the slick highways. Only the left front side's smashed in, but it killed a headlight so I have to watch it when I drive at night.
