Jobless

So, I quit my job today. It was getting to be way too strenuous, both physically and mentally, for me to continue working it (and things in the Parks department have really gotten way too out of hand and have become a garbled mess). I hadn't realized it was it was exhausting you so. I'm sorry to hear that =(. I sincerely hope the job market in your area is decent enough for you to find something in a timely manner (more precisely, something that will be enough to cover rent and bills). Do you have money saved up on the off-chance it takes longer than you think to find something new?

I'm getting back all the money I put in the retirement system my previous job offered me (it was something the state put on, and considering I'm never going to be working for local government again, I might as well get it back). Job market in metro east Illinois isn't the best, but I'm sure I can find something.
