There's no way in hell you're going to get me to work for a porn shop. If I did that, I'd regret it for the rest of my life, especially if I'm wanting to work for an animation company at some point in my future.

I'll see about the call centers, though.

You would be surprised at just how many people in the animation industry have moonlighted in the adult industry. Besides if it pays for schooling and such who cars.

Still, that would come back to haunt me in the long run.

So finally the theater call you, eh? I guess they must've gotten rid of some dead weight and decided they do need those extra hands after all. I hope they treat you better than the theater I worked at years ago. That's one job I'd never go back to again, personally.

Right now I'm working with DeWALT in their service center, fixin' tools. They train, and I started out at $10/hr. It's an 8-5, M-F thing (maybe a little earlier, the St. Louis center says they open at 7:00)... anyway, find out if they have any openings. I've really enjoyed working with the center in Gulfport so far.

Of course, I have no idea how far you live from it, the commute may or may not be worth it...

Here's the info for your Service Center:

11477 Page Service Drive
St Louis MO 63146
Phone: 314-997-9100
Hours: Mon - Fri 7:00am - 5:00pm

I live about 17.3 miles away from there. It's about a 33 minute drive from my house, and if it's an 8-5 job, that would mean I get out of five and I'd have to hall serious tail to get to school since my first class M-Th starts at 5:30 (and I do not like traffic on the highway construction zones during that time of day). I guess if they open at 7 and the hours are 7-4 it might be work in my favorite. I'll look into it, though.

a lot of call centers are open 24/7. Most of them will provide some sort of training on the product, so vast knowledge of lots of things isn't necessary.
unfortunately a lot of them are also union-based. :P

I'm looking into the call center jobs. It's about the only thing that's left for me besides the retail crap, which after Target, I want to completely avoid at all costs if possible.
