Christmas After-Report

Dec 25, 2006 18:28

So, for Christmas this year, I got 1) Bath and Body Works for Men Shower Gel and Body Spray from Pat, and 2) a pair of Lugz Boots from Dad. The shower gel and body spray has been added to my Axe three pack I got from a co-worker from work (that included Snake Peel shower scrub, Recovery, and Boost shower gels, and two trial bottles of Clix body ( Read more... )

BCF -might- have vans..it's one of those places that gets in a conglomerate of everything after it's not in style anymore..lol I go there for alot of my baby's stuff because infant clothes don't matter if they're in fashion or not, but yeah, hm..they have a surprising diverse mix of dirt cheap and insanely overpriced "are you kidding me?" stuff. Personally, the store's always given me a bit of a headache. Lol.

What's with all the showery stuff? Are people trying to say you smell bad or something? XD

I've no idea why I got so much showery stuff. I know the step-mom told me she didn't know what to get me, and her being such a shower freak, I guess that's what she decided to go for. As for the Axe 3-pack, that was a Secret Santa gift and it was something I asked for because I wanted to try Axe out.

Well, the Axe stuff I asked for because I wanted to try it. The other shower gel from the step-mom was totally unexpected. So, that's the one I laugh at. And I don't think I'd blame you for not getting a guy shower gel, either.

And, I think I'm gonna wait the day after tomorrow to exchange those boots. Not gonna deal with those idioso peoples!

That's funny! artistic_idol December 26 2006, 03:09:44 UTC
I got a bath basket and a pair of shoes for X-Mas. XD Lots of pretty soap beads and gels, and my shoes are Avia athletic shoes. It's weird that we got an almost identical set of gifts. Unfortunately for me, I have to do all of my X-mas present shopping tomorrow. =( Hopefully you've had a good day today despite feeling a bit under the weather.

Wowzers! Did our parents have the same ideas or what? Why do you have to do your Xmas shopping tomorrow? Had no time before hand or something? Oh well. I guess it couldn't be helped on your behalf. Please do your best to avoid the craze at the Guest Services booth. You know how those animals get. ^^

Look out on the DS lite. A lot of people don't like it as opposed to the normal one. Honestly, if you know someone with one and someone with an original, i'd say play them both for a while. Hell, if you feel like coming over and blowing a few hours on Castlevania on mine or something like that feel free.

And I'm glad your christmas didn't end up totally sucking like last year, I remember you were really dissapointed.

On the DS front, I'm going to get either/or. I see used old style ones for like $90 at GameStop but I haven't seen any used Lite ones, so it's a debate between the two.

That reminds me. Are you two still in Affton or did you move back to Sakura? If you moved to Sakura, email me directions. I still owe you $300 (or at least I think that's right) and I want to pay you back before I get this truck I'm interested in.

We're still in Affton for now, at least until the end of January we think. And we're only moving about 3 miles away.

I got a chance to play my cousin's DS Lite she got for Christmas yesterday, and just can't stand it. The light settings are nice, but it's too damn small. The screen may be brighter, and it may be the same size (not sure on that) but it just feels smaller, and some games looked a lot better on my DS, but I may just be biast.

Just trying to give you a heads up. I love my normal DS but if I was given one of the small ones I'd have returned it by now.

Well, it seems sickness plagues us all this holiday. And by "us all" I mean you and I. ^^; Glad you don't have any horror stories for us! Sounds like it was pretty painless! I'm glad to hear it.

I know. It's sad, isn't it.

Cursed bugs, leave us alone! We don't want you in our bodies! Go away!

Maybe that should scare them off, eh?

I probably would've had some horror stories if I visited my relatives like I wanted to, but I digress. Still, I'm glad to oblige to being one with no horror Christmas stories. ^_^
