Trip Cancellation and Reflection of Self

Well, my trip to Six Flags is cancelled due to the weather. So, looks like tomorrow I'll be sleeping in again. Unfortunate because I really need this. I never really get to do something good for myself because honestly, I'm too busy caring about others. Don't get me wrong. how far do you usually go (miles) on your road trips? *curious*

Somewhere in between 60-120 miles at the least. I try not to venture too far from St. Louis (especially since I'm driving my dad's truck; when I get mine though, the disntances will get a little longer), so I just generally keep them short distance. And trust me, 120 miles might be long to some, but to an ex-trucker, it's pretty damn short.

That's why I'm trying to work feverishly to get my truck and possibly move as far away from Missouri as I possibly can.

Man do I know how you feel. Hang in there, my friend. People do care about you, they may not know quite how to express it or simply aren't around as much as they'd like to be to show it.

I'm feeling pretty much the same way romantically, too. It gets lonely after a while to have no one around to really talk to. But I'm with you. I'm sticking it out for what I want and nothing less. I don't deserve having to feel like throwing in the towel because of my beliefs. And you shouldn't either.

I hope you feel better soon, because you are a good friend and a great person.

as Lamar constantly tells me "You can get dat, just tighten yo game up". And it's true... As far as finding true love or what not, that may just be a pipe dream (for most people, including me). i'm sure you COULD find a girl who you would like, you're a lot like me in the sense of being shy (well I've improved a bit). if you want a girl then try, you have to go out, be more sociable. but dude, i understand (cause i don't like doing that either). you may even have to hide/give up parts of your personality. you make the choice, it's really all up to you - remember you have only one life to live.
