017 [Text/Video (only in Japanese & English)] // Martial Arts Training!
[Minato starts off with text, then Japanese video before English video. He wants all his bases covered for this. His name order is reversed to the proper format for English when he's speaking it.]
For those of you who don't know, Zuko has taken over his uncle Iroh's martial arts school. I will be one of the teachers, Namikaze Minato. I will be teaching--or helping teach--three general classes. I will help teach martial arts at different levels, but my other two classes will be entirely my own.
The first class is knife--kunai--throwing and fighting, where you learn how to fight with a couple of these-- [He holds up an example for those of you who are watching the video.]--and how to defend yourself with them as well. Because we will be using real weapons for this class, there will be safety rules and likely age restrictions.
The second class is one that anyone can join. I am simply calling it Monster Avoidance right now. It is not so much of a fighting class as a class on how to avoid getting into fights, especially with the local wildlife. We'll start with the simple things, such as how to move quietly, how to stay downwind, and how to listen for or otherwise notice monsters before they notice you. Then we'll move onto more complex things such as reading your surroundings for signs of recent monster activity.
My classes aren't starting yet, but I want to get a good feel for those would be interested in being either a student or a helper! I'll let everyone know when they're starting up.
