lot tour for Ader House [nobility]
So here's a house I built a while back, during my last building spree. This is for the Ader House, the main Noble family in Foxlyn. Husband and wife, Dominic and Ella, live in this little place.
In retrospect, I will probably give the house a more steep roof when I next go to the lot, to offset that high balcony wall. It's got very tall walls/windows/fencing and a rather stout roof. Looks a bit off. I may also give them more of a red brick house instead of this one. It is brick, but it's a sandy light colour and I think it needs more texture. Nevertheless, I quite like it.
Here's an aerial of the garden.
Not as lavish as Lonsdale Manor, but suitable for their needs. They keep about four chickens in that shed. It is the job of Laura Matton (wife in a Peasant family) to maintain them and the rest of the house, including the garden.
Moving inside, here's their interior. The family are not terribly wealthy despite their status, hence the (at times) fairly sparse furnishing.
(The first picture is an in-progess, the second is the complete version of the lower floor.)
So the lower level has a kitchen, a dining room, a games room, and... empty space, because we know I'm shithouse at decorating larger areas. It will probably have a sofa added or something, so visiting gents can retire to the games room and the ladies can enjoy the piano.
Upstairs is the bathroom, a bedroom and a nursery. I'll probably change the flooring of the bedroom/s to wood because the carpet looks out of place, and maybe replace the crib with something wooden. Lol, so many things to do!
So yeah. I've built most of the next Noble house, though I hit a snag with the interior there. I've also built one of the two peasant homes, so I'm almost done on that side of things. It'll still be a while before I really get to play this though - but that's okay. They'll be waiting for me. C:
