So this is a rather delayed post, and due to the fact that I am still banned at merlinxarthur, first I have a few things to say on this subject and to some of the fandom.

For some reason this made LOL (inappropriate), but otherwise awww :( I think this sort of thing is one of the reasons I often avoid fandom communities. This whole thing just seems stupid and it really makes me wonder, who would even complain? it's kinda sus.

Though, I can totally understand what you're saying about not getting involved with fandom comms. Usually I don't - for this very reason - since the last fandom I was in (Harry Potter) did not end well at all. But it seems Merlin dragged me into it, and it's turning out just like the HP fandom. T_T;;

BUT ANYWAY, PLOT. LIKE ZOMFG I HOPE THEY HAVE LEARNT FROM THIS. Everyone needs to write and tell them MORE GOOD PLOT AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, so that they repeat this often!!

I mainly hang out on forums and tbh the exact same mod behaviour and other ridonc wank happens there as well and they aren't even fandom related. I think it's just the interwebs all over x_x
Also, I don't know much about the HP fandom, but I've heard it's battier than the Twilight and SPN fandoms, if that's possible (: It sucks you had a bad experince though. Fandom is supposed to be about mutual loooooove.

Sadly, I think it's case. My other fandom's have all been similar, and I'd just put it down to people allowing themselves to get nasty on the internets. It's a common thing, sadly.

I KNOW the HP fandom is crazier than the Twilight/SPN fandom. It's had the time to develop into insanity, and because there are so many people in the fandom, you get real hardcore crazies everywhere. Like the people that "marry" Severus Snape, or write the most fucked up incest/beasiality/violent fic imaginable ... *is still scarred*
