Nov 08, 2009 11:18

So I'm back in Australia, got in yesterday, right in time for my 21st Birthday Party. Which had issues because those that were coming didn't get there on time or had to leave early. BUT I DON'T CARE, BECAUSE KATE WAS THERE ALL DAY AND IT WAS BASICALLY ME + KATE + RANDOMS THEREFORE IT WAS FANTASTIC. Karaoke, btw, was more fun than I could have ( Read more... )

Yes, so much yes to all the emo Merlin scenes first at Gaius's destroyed workshop and then with Slashy-D and Gaius. So much supernaturally beautiful OTT emo teariness! The writers/directors pretty much manage to get CM's tears into every episode! They love that stuff like crack!

I can't remember which episode it was last season, but it has been so obvious that ASH and RW are pulling that slashy shit on purpose, like they aren't even trying to be subtle about it. Any scene they can slash the hell up, they absolutely do, just watch them. Makes me love them sooooo much.

He just surprise buttsex's Merlin into Gaius's cell

LMFAO so hard! And the way that Merlin was clinging to Arthur as he dragged him out. Too hot for words.

Happy Bday!!! And welcome back to Aus land! BtheW I totally want to friend you because your writing is awesome and your reviews have me LOwaytooL like some nutter!

I can totally see why they do it. Colin does the teary face so well!! \o/ I cannot help but wibble every time I see his sad, emo face. It is so beautiful, and yet so heartbreaking.

LOL I KNOW RIGHT. I love Uther/Gaius, and I can't remember the episode either, but I remember dying from the lulz when I watched it. Those two, in general, are just fantastic. :D :D :D They're like an old version of Merlin/Arthur! XD

LMFAO so hard! And the way that Merlin was clinging to Arthur as he dragged him out. Too hot for words.

PPPPPPPPWWWWWWWAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR like holy crap, yes, yes and yes. I think I rewatched that scene at least 15 times, plus a few more to get those screencaps. SUCH HOTNESS, I CAN'T EVEN DEAL.

:D Thanks for the B'day wishes! It's good to be back, definitely.
And of course you can friend me. :) I can't promise I'll be a good LJ friend, but I'll try my best. :)
*blushes* and thanks for your lovely compliment on my writing! Aww, I feel really happy now! ♥

Oh, it's totally heartbreaking, and we're getting a lot of it this season. Either the writers realized late in S1 it was like crack, or it's heading somewhere. Either way cheeky, happy Merlin is just as juicy. I hope we'll see more of that too.

I've had my LJ for a year. Love to comment, don't really post (Merlin made me break, lol). Friended! ^_^

I expect that it's a bit of both. Colin's such a fine actor and once they realised he could do emo so well, they probably decided to step it up. I hope it leading somewhere, because I really don't want to just have to look at Merlin's heart wrenching faces all the time with nothing resolved in the end.

:D I added you back too. LOL I love that it was Merlin that made you break your posting silence. XD; Nice.

8D thank you so much! I'm so happy you like them so much. *superhypergrin* *G*

I suppose the writers are just trying to have an Arthur/Gwen moment in every episode, to remind us of their Epic Tru Wuv. I wouldn't have minded that scene if they hadn't already kissed (I would actually probably have liked it as a part of the "build up"), but the fact that it was Merlin's Gaius that was being executed, I'd have thought Merlin would be the one to just tear up at Arthur and he would break like a twig. Because no one can resist Merlin's sad!face.

AND MERLIN/GWEN TEAM!CAMELOT FTW LIKE HARDCORE. MAN, THOSE TWO ROCK MY SOCKS ALL OVER THAT CASTLE. ♥♥

Just so you know. Belladonna was used in eyedrops in the middle ages. It dilates the pupils so that a person would look more aroused and therefore more sexually beautiful. So yes women would use them to make themselves seem more beautiful. I give kudos to the writer for knowing that and making it a plot point!!!!!

Oh really?? Wow, I didn't know that (clearly). LOL Maybe I should cut the writers a little more slack then. xD;
*is actually quite impressed by that also*
LOL "look more aroused" ho dear, I feel ridiculously for focusing in on that.

Don't worry. A lot of people didn't know that so they were going on about the eyedrops and how modern it was (when it wasn't). I thought it was stellar that the writer knew his medieval stuff!

I didn't think it was so modern (I learnt recently that never underestimate what they had back in the 'Ye Olde Days', because you'd be surprised how backyards it really wasn't). But it does seem to be rather random and obscure, though maybe the writers were counting on that.

Kudos to them, I have to say. I'm well impressed. :D

LMFAO Don't worry, I use capslock more than anyone in that regard XD; Colin Morgan makes me very excited in my pants also. LOL I love that you also feel the same way. I'm surprised I didn't put the whole "I would hit that like ..." in capslock, because it's certainly warranted ( ... )

Bwaha, I love seeing people who feel the same way about Colin. I AM NOT ALONE, YAY. XD

LOL, them Merlin people know that pretty sadface!Merlin will distract us from stupid!Merlin, hahahaha. Show really likes giving the fangirls what we want, lmao.

I APPROVE OF THIS LOGIC. \o/ It's definitely more logical than some of the stuff the Merlin writers invent XD

MWAHAHA one could never be alone in their love for Colin Morgan. He is going to have to become some kind of sex maniac, so we can all get our claws into him and he'll not mind sharing with everyone. xDDD;
*can't believe she just wrote that* XDDD

Oh yes, the director really knew what he was doing when he played that stupid opening scene. He knew that none of us would buy it so he decided to distract us with Colin's pretty emo face, and we all felt so sorry for him that we instantly forgave him for his utter stupidity.

MY LOGIC IS INVIOLABLE, FINDINGS INCONTESTABLE. If this show works so hard through "hidden messages" then that's the only conclusion we can draw, y/y?
Merlin writers do not understand logic. Which is why we have our lultastic show XD

PS - OMG I LOVE THAT ICON OF YOUR SFM. IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!! *dies from Colin's grin!face*
