MOVIE REVIEWS

Notice that I am reviewing two David Duchovny movies today. This is no accident, since I just received a ton of DD movies from a friend. So as usual, I'll be writing reviews. Just expect more David Duchovny movies in the future, including RETURN TO ME, THE RAPTURE, THE RED SHOE DIARIES, DON'T TELL MOM THE BABYSITTER'S DEAD, and others ( Read more... )

XF #2 sent me into a giggle fit! Most likely because I have yet to go to bed and it's after 5am, but even still ;D Snagged for future use, of course! I also grabbed #'s 18 & 38 - I really like the colouring of these ones :D

The Lives of Others isn't necessarily a "theater" film. I would consider it "okay" to watch as a DVD on a television or computer screen. The effect would be similar, I think. So I'm sure if it doesn't come to theaters near you, you should be able to rent it :)

Yay! I'm so glad you like the XF icons. I really really liked these icons, and I was just itching every week to unveil them. I'll be sure to make more icons of "Scully in her reigning glory" for you! :D

I watched Kalifornia for the first time a few months ago, I was more impressed than I thought I was gonna be. I figured out the ending about 10 minutes in but apart from that I thought the four main actors were amazing in it - really wasn't expecting that kinda preformance from Brad Pitt.

Lovely icons as ever. I stole "What would Mulder do?" cos it made me smile. :)

Yeah, the movie didn't have the greatest suspense, but what really got me is that they had so many chances to leave and they didn't. And that's what really builds the tension of this movie.

Have you seen "Snatch"? Brad does an excellent job in it, and it reminded me of his performance in Kalifornia.

Hee! Yay! You took a "What Would Mulder Do?" icon! I'm totally going to make that my new trademark quote :D

I watched Kalifornia like a week ago and I totally loved it. I think Mr Duchovny played a really brilliant part, as did Brad Pitt. Juliette Lewis did do a wonderful job, I did feel so sorry for her character at the end though :(
ICONS ICONS ICONS!!!! My oh my, you did an awesome job on the colouring in this batch I must say. I think #2,#14,#18,#38,#46-46 (especially the black and white one)and #55+58 :) they are the ones I love the most *saves all to use later*
Oh and there are some very pretty Harry Icons too, I love the ferret one he he he.
Much love to your cropping too :D

Wasn't Juliette Lewis amazing? She really blew me away. Sure, I don't care for most witless characters, but she was really endearing, especially towards the end. You could tell that she "knew" something more than she seemed. She wasn't exactly stupid.

Yay! I'm so glad you like the coloring in this batch. I'm going to go back to this coloring style for Anasazi :D

I saw that you used #38! Yay!

Yes, she was. I think the witless characters in films are there, a lot of the time, for entertainment. In this though, I think there is much more of a darker meaning to her character. I think that she is, to an extent, an innocent type of girl ya know? hmm, anyways, yeah she wasn't stupid at all. I think I may go watch it again :) I liked it that much.

I can't wait for your next batch. As for #38, that was my favourite of the batch and took up my last icon space until I decide which to delete :)
