Well all I can say is that LAST time I went to the UK (last year), as you recall summer was indeed in April/May. Having left drought-stricken Oz we had a 3-week heatwave and apparently it pissed down for the rest of what passes for summer..... Enjoy it while you have it.

BTW yr previous post about poly vs gay 20 years ago, all I can say on that is.... yeah, tell me about it! But I think you are onto something there.

Yes it was and yes it did. I resorted to scheduling a work meeting in Spain at the end of July just so I could get some proper summer... ;)

I saw your post about one of Ruth Dudley Edwards' books and did think it looked like something I'd like! Must go hunting when I get back home :)

Um, possibly! I have emailed the travel agent to ask about changing flight times; it depends on whether and when they can get me on another flight (and how much it will be)... Will let you know! Hope you are enjoying your travels also :)
