And if you don't know what that refers to, go and watch The Prisoner - it's a 60s TV series and is brilliant, especially if you're entertained by mindwarping psychological games, symbolism and allegorical social commentary. Happy belated birthday!

Kudos for watching The Prisoner, I can't hear 'All You Need is Love' by the Beatles without thinking of it. (You may not get this now but you will by the end of the series...)

Yay birthdayness!

In a bizarre twist, I was also in the North Wales area this week, and we also went to Portmerion, Bleanau Ffestiniog and the Ffestiniog Railway! Portmerion was indeed ace, though we completly missed those caves - I am jealous of your exploring skills!

The railway is cool, but we thought Blaenau Ffestiniog itself was pretty crap - the mountains are covered in slate waste (we visited the mine responsible!), and it's excluded from the Snowdonia National Park as it's so rubbish! I'm impressed you managed to enjoy it :)

We need bat pictures!

Danger Man originaluddite June 11 2007, 23:17:38 UTC
I recently saw a few episodes of a show called Danger Man that has the same actor as The Prisoner and which is regarded by fans as the unofficial prequel to The Prisoner. It is a stylish if quaint 60s spy show (but lacks the trippiness of The Prisoner).
