Once and hour or so I am out to the hoop house knocking the snow off, it is WET and HEAVY snow, and if I wait too long, the chances of our hoop house collapsing, increases. Going to be interesting the next 2 days. For those of you who asked, begged, pleaded for snow, thanks

Funny that you call the chickens prehistoric menaces. We call the raptors or, when they're in full sprint, velociraptors. Our Welsummer, especially, is very raptor like. I don't trust that beak for a minute.

Ours remind me strongly of what I think a velociraptor at full sprint would look like when they come running across the yard. I have a mixed bag of chickens but they ALL look like sprinting dinosaurs when they run. Cracks me up every time. :)
