Putting a New Site together

Finally started some serious work on Nat and my personal web site.  It's been sat there for a few months now and I've never got around to making the damned thing work.  The closest I've come is to go through one of the automated site builder scripts and then leave it stagnating while I head of for some industrial thumb twiddling.  Of course, this ( Read more... )

Wordpress is great. I really recommend installing the Livejournal Cross Poster ( http://code.google.com/p/ljxp/ ) so you keep your readers here as your entries automagically get cross posted. The Askimet spam filter on Wordpress is excellent too :)

To be honest, I only installed WordPress because I saw what you and Rik had done with yours and really liked the look of it. Been wrestling with a few options in that and Gallery, and have been having a murderous time chnging the CSS and editing images in Photoshop, but I think it is just about behaving now. And yes, Askimet is pretty cool as well.

So with a bit of luck it will be working within a couple of hours at which point I will see if the crossposting plugin works. Fingers...erm...crossed.
