Public Service Announcement - New Jargon

Seeing as how I recently finished The Fencer Trilogy by KJ Parker (great stuff, by the way. If you're at all inclined towards fantasy, get your hands on this one ASAP. Totally gives me back my faith in the genre), I now have a new concept of slang to add to my language - Proof.

Yay for new uses of old words! I love language's ability to stretch. Can you use proof in a sentence for me?

I work amongst several thousand boxes with "proof" marked on them; English, however, does not have a stronge sense of case, so this proves nothing.
