You did not know about this book? How is that possible? And why haven't I mentioned it to you before?

The head children's librarian gave copies of that book to the entire children's staff the year it came out. It's one of the best presents I've ever gotten. :)

I've known about it for a while, but never actually SAW it. And then I was like "Hey, I am right near the giant NY library, I wonder if they have it!" and the answer is yes, they have THREE copies.

I went to the cathedral when I first came here, and pretended I was Emily G.

I am kind of disappointed in anyone who WOULDN'T want to pretend to be Emily.

That reminds me! Have you seen this site? http://picturebookreport.com/ I got linked to it yesterday and immediately thought of you. :D

Also, you are making me want to do a massive L'Engle re-read. There are still a couple books of hers I've never read! What order should I go in? ;)

OH AND: two nights ago I had a dream about Rachel from BB. Your influence is spreading.

Man, that's AWESOME. I want to play in that project! :D

Also, I feel no guilt whatsoever. For any of those things. I am just proud.

Man, why do you have to tell me this exists the day after I bought my mom a Christmas gift? I'll have forgotten by next year. :(
