It was really nice, but it was totally haunted.

Okay! I am here and ready to reflect on some very important parts of the cinematic oeuvre.

Bring It On )

The baby Goth has FANGS! (I watched clips)

Okay, those quotes totally had me cackling. Gonna have to rent it.

Glad you liked Cutting Edge... there's always the danger of overhyping. I can't imagine what it would be like to someone who didn't watch it at the time. I can't be objective about it at all - that and Newsies were the movies I watched in HS all the time.

SHE DOES.

They're tiny baby vampire fangs! I HAVE SCREENCAPS.

(Do you know what it's taking, right now, for me to not picspam BiO 4? DO YOU?)

And, yeah. My early high school movies were Princess Bride and Heathers; my later high school movies were Bring It On and, when I was in the mood for a comedy, The Forsaken.

Everyone has some movies for which they are blind to any possible flaws! Luckily, I don't need to worry about that with Bring It On, because it has no flaws to be blind to.

That totally makes it sound like you and I are almost the same age, which for some reason don't seem possible, exactly. Huh.

Hee.

Well, they weren't new when I watched them, but they were the movies I watched all the damn time.

-There is no question in my mind that season 2 is the best season of Project Runway. NO QUESTION IN MY MIND.

Dude, I will totally agree with you on that, and yet. When you've got something like twelve hours free, Project Runway Canada is up on YouTube, I believe in its entirety. The only thing that doesn't make it fucking PERFECT is the lack of Tim Gunn.

(I want more people to watch it! I have a feeling I'm going to write slash for it very soon, maybe even today if I can manage to put down my knitting, and it sucks if only two people on my friends list have watched it. HEE. :))

WHEN DO I NOT HAVE TWELVE HOURS FREE.

I have been trying to make sure I've seen all of the US version before I watch that, but. I think it may be time to move on to other nations' equally great creations.

*snickers* Even though I adore the season two designers beyond all reason, I think whoever did the casting for PR Canada should get a HUUUUUGE bonus. Wee gay snarky Stephen! Wee dorky French-Canadian MG! Wee fey Romanian Lucian! And Megan, who cries more than Ricky from season four but does it because she has reason to cry -- she always thinks she's getting kicked off, and for good reason -- and not because EVERYTHING IS JUST SO DAMN MOVING HOMG.

Project Catwalk I mostly recommend for Wayne, who was in season two and was a six-and-a-half-foot tall drag queen and fetish designer. I adored Wayne. The best was that they did a challenge for drag queens and one of the models "just happened" to skip out, so Wayne volunteered to take his place.

You've made me want to watch Bring it On 4. If only for this. "If you hate cheerleading so much, why do you do it?" "For Satan."

SHE IS ADORABLE, OKAY?

SHE ALSO WANTS A VIRGIN SACRIFICE.

you know there's a (horrific) sequel to Cutting Edge, right?

IT IS AMAZING FOR THE TIME DISCREPANCIES AND HIP STREET SCENES ALONE.

What's a good movie without a horrible sequel?

I mean, really.

and I REALLY need to go buy groceries Does your grocery store have a delivery service? They probably can't bring the stuff to you until tomorrow, but if you have a complete failure to leave the house, you will avoid starving to death. Giant and Safeway both have delivery services if your regular grocery store does not.

...As it turns out, they do.

Okay, AWESOME.
