I think this one I might possibly inch the fic you wrote for me for the ficathon out of my favorite spot. I can believe it all and your use of Lloyd was impeccable. The alcoholism - i actually believe it more in Eric than I do in Vince.

He stopped calling him E. God. When he did again, thats when my heart broke. I loved this, really.

I hope you're back, hon. You've been missed.

Eric has a personality more... likely for alcoholism, I think, even if Vince is probably more likely in terms of his family. I'm glad you see it, too. And thank you for the lovely comment. I'm back at least for a bit, clearing a few things from my hard drive.

Same....Its nice to see I'm not the only one trying to get things squared away. at the Moment I'm trying to get done with Going Nowhere and a rather large hookerfic. o.O

-E definitely's got the personality for alcoholism. I remember on a commentary either Ellin or Larry what's his name talking about how Kevin made a conscious decision after Season 1 that E wouldnt smoke up anymore. It's about him growing up but I also think it falls in line with that. There's something in E beyond just being Irish that says "This boy is walking a fine fucking like - be wary." It ties in with his anger too.

I want to see that explored more. *sighs* but I have alcoholism and drug abuse in my family and I cant bare to do it. I just cant.

Love your use of the Serenity Prayer btw. :D I think a fic around the 12 Steps could be cool - but not by me. *looks around for someone to foist the bunny on*

Yessss, thanks so much--I've been inhaling your Entourage stories like crack fumes. (Seriously, why can't I find more E/Vince?) I loved the fucked up power dynamics between bizarro E and Vince, and I would definitely like to see what's up with them. I love how Vince is still so earnest about E in that world, even after everything, and still entrusting that E wants his happiness. I love that E is kind of a broken tin soldier, and apparently, fucked up enough that Clarence immediately thinks possible suicide. But limping along or not, I want this one Hollywood couple to prove everyone who says relationships don't last there, you know?

This was gorgeous, especially in juxtapostion to the first fic. I love these types of 'it's a wonderful life' a/us, particularly when they're as well written and realistic as these are. You did a wonderful job of pulling out aspects of their personalities just hinted at in the show, and while NewYork!E/Vince was a little sad but mostly sweet and hopeful, LA!E/Vince was just heartbreaking-a 'bleeding love' type scenario that really leaves me ambivalent about whether I hope they wind up together or not. Fortunately you also gave us our canon boys, to get it right.

This is awesome. I love the other one too, but this is such a perfect partner to it. The main conceit is really interesting and the fabric of the AUs themselves are lovely. And it deals with a couple things I love to see dealt with in E/V fic, the thread of the past, especially their childhoods, all the things they still carry with them, both good and bad. Also deals with the fact that Eric's temper is totally, canonically physical. And with the fact that even though it's Vince's entourage, E is the alpha wolf in a lot of ways. Even though in this story he replaces most of his pack, which is so sad. (I'm at the outline stage of an AU that's kind of similar, thematically. I love alpha wolf, lead hunter E ( ... )
