So, I very rarely write what I'd call explicit sex. There's a reason for that that isn't (at least I think) prudish: basically, I usually (I won't say I never do, because I'm sure I have) do not write sex into a story unless the sex itself is necessary to the story. As in, the actual way the sex happens is important to the story that's being told

First off, don't be nervous. This is lovely. I often think we need a better term for stories like this, where porn is the plot.

Secondly, the sex was awesome. Hot, yes. But there was a tension running throughout it, of Vince's need and Eric's concern, and that made it more powerful than just a description of hot sex. (Not that there's anything wrong with hot sex. I tend to be in favor of it.)

And thirdly, I love the boys' co-dependence. I know that in real life, this kind of dependence isn't the healthiest thing, but I see it in their interactions in canon all the time. It makes sense that their romantic relationship would be this tight and this reliant on one another. And since it's fiction, I can enjoy it guiltlessly.

I liked this very much, and it always makes me happy to see more in this 'verse. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I agree, a new term would be helpful. Because the old Plot-What-Plot doesn't apply... SexFic, maybe? I dunno.

They're totally co-dependent... though in this universe, they're (eventually) gonna get some help for it. I love that it's canon, and fake, and everything you said. ::happy sigh::

And I totally get your views on the writing of sex. Whenever it appeared in the rest of this universe, it was always part of the story rather than random, it's never gratuitous. But after reading this story, (phwar!) I kinda wish you enjoyed writing gratuitous sex more! :) Vince being so desperate for it, Eric pulling him back into the moment...

i loved this. the sex was amazing, and i loved that there was that underlying story through the whole thing.
