friday night was a crazy, crazy night. absinthe at Rossa's, dancing, meeting Byron, then off to Diarmaid's friend's house right next to UCD for more drinking. Too, too much booze. I slept on the floor and spent all of Saturday recovering along with D and his friends. Didn't go to the farmers' market and didn't get any time with just Diarmaid,

It sounds like you need to reimage - if you have an external hard drive and your install discs, it's not that difficult. It's best to have a computer-inclined person about if things go wonky.

Ah, but the install discs are sitting in the wilds of Colorado at the moment. I could ask for them to be included whenever my parents next send me something, but that could (probably will) be months. I do have an external hard drive that I keep updated every, oh, month if we want to be realistic.
