Um, if you read the decision, it bans one kind of abortion involving fetuses over three months. Honestly, the fact that you can still get an abortion at all after you can hear the heart beating bothers me a lot more.

I'm not for outlawing abortion entirely but it makes complete sense to me that it be regulated.

the problem is that as soon as this supreme court sees that they can take this step, they'll want to take another.
I've read up, and now I see it's only one type (of two) and after three months. still, I'm worried that the new majority is going to keep pulling now that they've got themselves a little bit of rope to hang onto. if you give a mouse a cookie....

With the close 5-4 majority vote, it's highly unlikely that the mouse will realistically get that glass of milk. I'm no longer pro-life, but I agree with slythwitch that abortions of fetuses in the 2nd trimester should be against the law.

Do you really think any of those judges is going to change his/her opinion on this topic? The Supreme Court is made up of nine people so there can't be a tie. As long as those five vote together, they can get themselves as much milk as they want.
