bag woes

united is under two related perceptions:
1) that my name is ed q-something
2) that my bag should, accordingly, go to san francisco.

they say they'll have it here "hopefully" by this evening.

but anyway, i'm home. the cats are here and there is old snow on the ground and I'm going to take a nap.
