You can edit entries from the same day--try that, maybe it'll let you delete them all at once.

Meh. I went and deleted them all individually. Next time I'll remember not to hang up on a voice post without putting in all the post-this-to-LJ options!

In some Nebraska bars, whenever they get an out-of-state ID, they're like "ZOMGWTFFAKE!!!" I knew people who had a hard time getting booze because some bars automatically assumed it was a fake if it wasn't a Nebraska ID. Also, I always got carded, even though I'm well above age, and they always looked at me suspiciously because I guess I don't look 25. I went to a bar in Edmonton for the first time yesterday, however, and they didn't card me at all. I guess I look older than 18 at least.

yeah, Canadians are for sure cooler about that whole "drinking age enforcement" thing. For sure. in fact, I'd say the whole rest of the world is.

i just last night saw the episode of firefly that your icon up there is from.

fwiw, massachusetts law pretty much says that if you get fooled by a mass. fake, you're in the clear, but if you sell/serve to someone with an out of state fake, they can nail you. the 7-11 in harvard square wouldn't ever take my california id, so i had to use my passport instead. yeah, annoying.

that is CRAP. such is life, I suppose, for college students. I'll start bringing around my passport any time I want to buy booze.

firefly, eh? you like?

that should work, yeah. or you could get a mass. id, but it's a little expensive.

i borrowed the firefly dvds from a friend, and i'm halfway through now. yes, i like. how many of those icons do you have?

a little expensive, plus it probably won't be accepted in whatever state I end up going to grad school in. gah.

...several. glancing through my options, I think the number is 11 (including a few from the movie and some crossover-y ones). go check out my icons to see all of them. you're free to take any you want.

A number of restaurants, and even more liquor stores, around here won't take out-of-state ID as a matter of policy--even my CT ID which is just over the freakin border.

I'm thinking of getting a Mass Liquor ID XD since I'll probably be living here for a while.

gyaaaaaaah!

how does one go about getting a Mass liquor ID? does it cost anything? Even though I don't know where I'll be next year, if it's easy and free I may too, just to save the hassle I'm now preparing to expect... especially with an ID from a state so damn obscure as Colorado. Guh!

yeah, it's $25... you just go to the RMV (there's one in Watertown) with a bunch of ID...

I'm still getting carded even though I'm 28, and I'll prolly get carded until I'm 40.

It's not the getting carded I mind; it's the not trusting the out-of-state ID to the point of not accepting it. I'd rather not cart my passport around everywhere and other than that, my driver's license is the only legal ID I've got.
