As a werewolf, Elsa has a number of special abilities at her disposal, but the one she uses most often is her extraordinary sense of smell; it's extremely keen, and she's been known to identify the scent of a particular kind of dye ( Read more... )

Dyad- Doggy! He spends a lot of time with Veda the dog, and lets the dog sleep in his bed. Other than that, he'll smell faintly of coffee and his soap and shampoo, with a tendency towards mild, but slightly scented things. Right now he has no job, so he spends all his time not exploring Edensphere and the islands in Temp Housing- so he'll probably smell a bit like his roommates too, and always kind of has a bit of a faint, faint metallic edge to his scent from the ridiculous amount of nanomachines in his system.

Castor- Mostly smells like cigarettes, since he's taken smoking up to substitute his addiction to suppressant drugs. He'll smell a lot like incense and whatever oils and aroma therapy are going on at the spa, as he lives there, and like well-cooked food- probably usually some kind of eggs in the morning, and in the evening it changes depending on whatever he's been cooking. During the day, having been working in the butchers shop, he'll smell of animal blood and meat-- he showers in the evening upon coming back, but chances ( ... )

Habit Smells:

Smoke: Gene is a stress and after meals smoker, so while there's usually a hint of cigarette smoke on him at many times there will be hints of whatever biological smell goes along with stress/adrenaline when the smoke smell is stronger. Probably the most prominent smell on his person.

Coffee: The best (and sometimes the only) way to start a morning. As such this'll be stronger in the mornings and wane towards the end of the day.

Alcohol: He's a recreational and stress drinker. If beer or whiskey can be smelled on his person there will usually be a hint of other people, too, since Gene's not big on drinking alone (even if he just counts a crowded bar as 'not alone').

Work Smells:

Rust, metal, plastic, wood, sweat, dust and grime: Another Scrapyard rat, with all the smells that entails.

Cleanser/Cologne:Soap/Shampoo: Gene sticks with some pretty plain stuff and a hint of what he uses can likely be smelled even underneath whatever Scrapyard nastiness he has on him, unless he's just completely sweated it off ( ... )

- Genius: Hmm difficult to say. There's a canon line regarding Dr. Saunders saying she cannot stand the smell of him but no one else complains about his funk so I'm gonna go with...distinctive. He probably smells like a mixture of hospital odors like sick people and disinfectant, but also like computers, so that fairly burnt electrical smell? On top of that he smells like potato chips/anything unhealthy because he binge eats and he rarely leaves the house so he also smells like a shut in, which ok is kinda gross but he does shower I promise. /sobs forever

- Ghost: Kelley once logged Fenrir as observing that Ghost doesn't smell like a normal human--he's close but there's something a tad off about him. He's a mutant so if she's capable of sensing distinction between species then Ghost, Sky, Bridge and Pinky all smell similar. /Godmods Rangers forever ( ... )

Fred will smell like random soap/shampoo if she just took a shower (mornings and after work); she probably won't smell particularly 'flowery', since she has no reason to wear perfume and tends to use 'just plain soap'. She often smells of tea and very occasionally coffee, as well as her dog, Aven, who probably sleeps either in her bed or right next to it. Of course she'll also smell like whatever she's been eating; she's not too picky about what she eats, so you can make something up if you need to.

Since she works in the Scavengers' Yard, she will smell of sweat, rust, grease, metal, dust, and whatever else is down there any given afternoon.

She also spends a lot of her free time wandering around ES and she knows a lot of people (orz), so she might smell like some of the people she's run into and talked to during her wanderings.

Oh yeah, since she's not human, I doubt she smells like one. No clue what Time Lords smell like, but there ya go.

Stoneface: You should know most of this already, but I'll be a broken record. XD He smells quite strongly of his foul cigars, of course. He smells faintly of the metal of his clothing and weapons, and worn leather. He may also smell distinctly of Nobby the Smelly Dog but he usually washes his hands quite thoroughly. Oh, yes, and he smells like however it smells outside, most of the time, since the rare times he's inside, the window's still wide open. And, of course, coffee and plain soap and shaving cream and all that stuff. /lazy

Is anger a smell? HE SMELLS LIKE ANGER. GRAWWWGH.

Grift: Grift smells very, very, very clean. He's meticulous about that sort of thing. He leans towards citrus smells for any products that he uses and smells very faintly of liquor all the time. Also, hair gel. If I make mention of his favorite lilac scarf, it still smells of his familiar (cougar). Oh, and gunpowder. He also likes chewing on mint leaves. Annnd... yeah that's about it.

OH YEAH. If she wishes to note this, Grift does not smell human. But by all means, he's pretty sure he's just human with ~POWERZ~ so if she does mention it, he'll just be bewildered. XD
