Ahaha, I may be sleep-deprived (I am, I am)! But I was also running out the door and I didn't have the time to think up a proper comment, so I just sat on the "u" key for a while.

But now that I have time: I love how quiet this piece is. I love how it feels like there's a progression but at the same time a kind of comfortable sameness throughout it all. I love this paragraph:

He sleeps on the couch for the spring, at least until Nino starts wearing his pants and showing up at his shows and making Subaru want to kiss him. Kiss him he does, and slowly kisses (re)turn to fingers stealing under shirts and lips on collarbones with the windows shut up tight to swallow Nino's words. It makes it a little warm in the sunrise, when morning creeps in and slides into the covers with them, but it's worth it.

I feel like I've said it before, but I'm very much looking forward to more of this 'verse. :3.
