Wow... I wish I could say more than that for a comment. This was short and cutting and um, wow, again. I really, really liked it. I liked the twist in the end with the big gay happy family and the "we're going to hell" and I could help thinking of the Bastard Fairies song you gave me :D

Thank you! It sort of pulled itself out of me, NOW, aren't you glad I didn't try to shove gremlins in here. This, oddly enough, started off as kidfic with a four-year-old and Dean talking about hell wasn't what he expected, and then I was like, HOW ABOUT I JUST SHOW IT, and I thought about how Dean was getting kind of antsy towards the end of the series, like it was Sam's fault that he was going, and not his own, and so I had the devil telling him there was no escape.

*breathless & awed* This is amazing. I love your portrayal of Lucifer -- he's terrifying in his coldness and his facade of indifference. (For some reason, it's creepy as all that he's making a paper plane once. *brr*) And the tattoo on Sam's hip is brilliant; I'd forgotten that verse.

I think it takes a special sort of Dude to start a war with God, and I think that even if after he lost, being condemned to hell, and stuck with all these annoying murderous humans would sort of leech all of his good spirit away, because he was an angel first.

Oooh, this was awesome. I'm always fond of different portrayals of Lucifer in fiction, from Milton right on down the line, haha. The way your Lucifer is so casually cold, so bereft of any humanity even when he indulges in human pasttimes like paper airplanes, is wonderful.

And omgpoorDean when Sam starts being happy again with Casey. I mean, it's what Dean said he wanted for Sam after he was gone, but to see it? Ouch.

The sad thing is I know that canon hell for Dean won't be nearly as cool when the show returns. *sigh*

I haven't read Paradise Lost, so I'm unaware of what Milton has to say on the subject, I sort of toyed with the idea of making this Satan instead of Lucifer, because I was sure that somebody was going to be like, YOU REALIZE THE DEVIL AND LUCIFER ARE TWO DIFFERENT DUDES, RIGHT, but it seems you people are letting me get away with it!

Yeah, I mean, the suffering is terrible, because Dean knows he caused, but then feeling like he's been forgotten? Left behind? Only to realize that Sam has freakin' tattooed his name to his skin. It is yayness.

I was just thinking, how do you move on if the only thing you really care about is stuck in hell? You have to find something else to care about.

If I was going to get bible verse tattooed to me, it would probably be that, which, is kind of hilarious, because I have no faith whatsoever, but I'm really quite fond of the idea! Anyway, thank you so much for reading! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
