i skim read this and had to re-read it again, because the first time i thought that you had exchanged your ring in order to purchase your father a father's day gift and i was like "oh wow, Mary is the nicest person ever."

I assure you, I was still using birthday money from my grandparents to shop for my dad. So I'm stlll PRETTY nice, I guess?
