I'm not taking the job. I'm happy where I am, it's just that I love job interviews where you lie to them while they lie to you and you both smile at each other knowing you're both trying to pull the wool over the others eyes.

Plus I've got a new guy here which I can trip over, glue his desk down etc >:)

soooooooooooooooo, did you get the job? even though you dont want it...

seriously, how could anyone actually LIKE job interviews? i just dont get it. what is it? they are the ones with the power in that situation. you sit there, all nervous like, and ramble on and on, while trying not to sound like too much of a know-it-all tool. or even worse, like a good-for-nothing git...

so which is it, tool or git?

I was offered the job but knocked it back for the whole reason I never wanted it in the first place. Job interviews is my talent. I happen to have this knack of having total clarity and saying the right thing at the right time. I think it's just practice. The fact that for most job interviews I'm not very fussed if I get the job or not means that I'm not very stressed and am willing to not play the game safe, and for some reason I tend to be more successful than when I play the git/tool game.

As for the tool or git, always the git, because if they don't expect anything of you, you can constantly surprise them without ever showing all your talent. :D

Yeah, I'd love to solve the worlds problems through abstract sayings. I could picture myself having my own office at the end of a hallway in a big office building with no official role. People would come to me with problems seeking advice, but be so daunted that I only get the major issues about life. I'd give them an abstract piece of advice not unlike a combination of Sun Tzu, Confucius, Yoda and Mr. Miyagi, and even though they would walk out of the 'inner sanctum of floor 14' with no real idea of what I just said, they would feel calm and at peace with the world.
