I haven't watched Merlin save a couple eps but this is a great graphic :D The colors are so vivid and I love the castle in the background. There's fantasy and a sense of danger in this wall.
Thank you. I wanted a sense of danger as he goes out to prove to himself he's worthy and what his Father wants him to be although we want him to be a better King who is good for the people of Camelot.
Thank you. The background is a series of layered stock photos and brush work to create the scenery. I didn't save the castle ruin photos so I can't tell you where they are or it's name if it has one. Perhaps someone who has seen it would know the location. :)
*kicks LJ notifications* Deb!! This is beautiful!! I love the ruins and the sunlight beaming down. The rich blue color, Camelot in the background and the smog gives the woods a creepy feel. Also I love the text on the top right of the wallie. Great place for your siggy, didn't take me a second to find that sucker. You did good, my friend.
Thanks Net! I started out playing with the ruins and didn't know where to put Arthur without taking away from the manipped scene. One thing does bother me though but I won't mention it. I got sleepy while finishing up the last touches and carelessly posted it without completing something. :/ Typical of me when working so long on a piece. The woods around Camelot are always so creepy and enchanted so I had to give it that feel in the ruins. I wanted to add a larger pic of Arthur but it was too overpowering to the cool manip so I just added him to the side. Glad you like how it came out. :) Didn't know where to put that siggy at first but alas it found a home. :)
