Somehow, I managed to wander here and log myself in, after a jillion years or something like that.

It's so nice to see you!!! I was thinking about you a little while ago -- it's good you logged in, or I'd have to poke you or something.

We've been able to weather the recession pretty well -- we are still employed and are still paying a mortgage. We're underwater, but because we have our niece living with us, we weren't planning on going anywhere until she graduates high school (3 years) anyway. Thankfully, we're still in pretty good health, too -- my husband and I have lost a significant amount of weight (him more than me), and aside from a frustrating year of joint pain (recently diagnosed as psoriatic arthritis), we're doing pretty good.
