lolol Hey, I watched the whole thing, and my comments were largely hair based!
1. *gasp* Oh my god, a glittery scarf would be amazing! Someone get Cesare a memo. 3. "I'm sad, but I'm terrible modest as well." Hmm. Except that's a total lie so, really, there's no excuse at all for the shirt. 4. I LOVE THAT PICTURE. It looks like there's a huge pit just out of frame, and he's desperate to stop everyone before they fall into it. 6. THANK YOU. I am very glad it's not just me, I feel better about the criticism. *g* (If that happens, Cesare is going to have to take immediately action. For real, when the hair starts hurting the team? It's got to go.) 7. He's so pretty and so cute! Is he picking at his sock? 8. *pats Kuzi with Cesare*
1. Ok, I KNOW you mean the scarf, but the thought of Cesare standing on the sideline with a cat on his head is really making me giggle. 3. LOLOL. 6. BWAHAHHAHHAAA! THAT'LL TEACH HIM. It'll be too late and very sad, but it'll teach him. (If it wasn't so awful it'd be fascinating -- I wonder what on earth he's going for with that look. And it seems to be several different textures!)
Hmm, the pictures look a little bit wavy around the edges... but, in mitigation, I am euphoric :D I shall comment!
1. I am unnerved by the Why Be Normal guy. 2. Seb, as I believe your nation puts it, was sleeping in the barn when the goat was hungry. Wtf is going on with his hair? (It's a rhetorical question. I know nobody can answer it.) Apart from anything else, it's lopsided. 3. What's Melo grinning at? Whatever it is, it seems to have blinded Gobbi. (PS: my spellcheck is suggesting I call Melo "Melon".) 4. I'm not gonna lie -- this was easily the best part of the match for me. Gambit's bum? XD 5. Re: the face-fondling: oh, it wasn't Gambit's bum. 6. I like the variety of "shit" faces. 7. WHAT?!?! 8. Poor Semolina actually seems to be quite good? It's so easy to dismiss him because of that phizog (and cos he's on a team with some supposedly amazing players), but he keeps getting fairly good marks from you. 9. Yowch. 10. Pouty pouty pout. I think Zarate has the edge, though. 11. Caption competition! What is Cesare threatening him
( ... )
Excellent news! I didn't expect to see you for weeks, you are a speedy and/or determined healer.
3. Good god. And stolen Pasqual's brain, too -- I wish they'd have turned the camera around. 5. There was a lot of fighting and posturing by Suarez, and a lot of aloof ignoring by Gambit. The combination was surprisingly entertaining. 8. He is good! He even had a handful of NT calls last season, believe it or not. The problem is that he's apparently strictly a wide player, so there's been no room for him in the system they've been using all season. He's been pretty awesome coming off the bench, though, hopefully they can find some use for him if they ever get Life Without Santana sorted out. 10. There were briefly rumors about Fiorentina trying to buy Zarate, can you imagine how embarrassing all the pouting would have been for everyone? 11. Are you sure he's threatening? That looks sort of like Gila's happy face to me.
...or the surgery is a lot fancier than it used to be XD I stumped up for the expensive method, and it seems to have been well worth it! All together now: "I can see clearly now part of my corneal tissue is gone..."
Anything can happen next week, you know. If I remember correctly, last season they drew at home with PSV, then won 0-2 away. You know who I root for, of course *hides*
The Gamberini vs Suárez moment was priceless. Luis picks up more bookings than our defenders, LOL. He's such a hothead. If his Argentine BFF Darío is back from injury next week, things could be even worse *facepalm*
[Fiorentina lost their hardest-working, least glamorous player to a season-ending injury several weeks ago, and have mostly been total shit since then. (It's nice that he's getting appreciated now, but it's not helping!) I hope they can pull it together, but recent matches have not been encouraging .... ]
You're welcome! Sorry for the lack of Ajax pics but, you know. *g*
Last season they couldn't believe Pazzo's missed goal against Siena in the 2nd leg match in the championship, how about Gila's now? I mean it's worse than Pazzo's chance...losing such a ball (in a weird way!) in a Uefa cup match!
I had a little blame for Monty too, I couldn't believe he wasted such a golden chance! But, it's ok, I've already forgiven him before he apologized :)
I was thinking that when it happened, I really was! If Pazzo had missed that, he would have been crucified, but since it was Gila, everyone's like "Eh."
Kuzi's was pretty bad, too -- he had a lot of goal to shoot at, and missed everything. Poor dude. Man am I glad I'm not a coach, I'd have no idea what to say to him to a)fix his confidence, and b)fix his playing. (I'm not worried about Monty's confidence. *g*)
Maybe this weekend they'll beat up on a not very good team, and get settled? A little?
I love how the goal.com headline was all, "MONTOLIVO APOLOGIZES FOR MISSING THE EASIEST CHANCE ON GOAL EVER", when what Monty actually said was, "I really wish I had scored that. BUT I WAS AWESOME ANYWAY, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT."
*laughs* Which can only mean they're totally smitten, too -- usually they like to turn that sort of quote into headlines about REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SINGLE-HANDEDLY DESTROYING EVERYTHING EVERYONE ELSE HAS WORKED FOR.
