•It's been officially announced that team team are off to Marbella in Spain for their winter training camp. They'll spend January 1-8 there, at a center "already known for its avant-garde for the preparation of professional teams." God only knows what that means, but I'm hoping for silly hats, at the very least.

•Ex-Toro captain Comotto was in the ( Read more... )

Oh, for Varda's--. Argh.

I hope Pazzo doesn't get sold at all before the training camp. He loves silly hats. And he'd totally be down with anything "avant-garde", even though he doesn't know what it means.

I think Zola has been linked with every footballer he ever coached on the U-21 side. He totally was linked with Monty when he was just hired, and Monty wasn't even unsettled.

Are you sure we couldn't find someone to take Almiron off our hands if we tied him up and left him outside the Franchi with a "free footballer!" sign on him?

I love Kuz. Just saying.

What a way to go, wearing a silly hat and engaging in training he doesn't understand.

While Almiron really doesn't bother me, I do like the idea of trying to give him away, since he's Lotito's and it would fill him with Epic Rage if he discovered he'd missed out on 75 cents that should have been his.

ETA: Oh, wait a minute -- Almiron is Juve's, not Lazio's. That's less fun, since Moggi's not technically there to annoy any more. Can the sign maybe say "for a small fee"?

Oh Monty ♥ ♥ ♥ Did you read his interview with corriere dello sport? He clarified the shushing gesture and a lot of other things and I think people will see him in a whole new light from now on!

ZOLA! STOP STALKING PAZZO & MONTY!!! :/

Oooh, Viola in Spain! I'm hoping to hear about their antics in the Spanish media. :D

Gerrard being his role model
Oh, Melo. No. DDDDDDD:

LOL Will the Spanish media pay any attention to them at all? They've not got a single freckled Spaniard, Raul or Pep -- what is there to talk about? *g*

*sigh* I know. What is it with these people? Though I guess I can see Melo wanting to be to whatever club he ends up with as Gerrard is to Liverpool, both adored and with the ability to pop up and score massive goals when they need them -- that's sort of an excuse?

Kuzi going to Real, apparently. *sighs* Have you read anything about these latest rumours?

I guess so. Hopefully he'll see the light and convert to, say, Paddy or something. :D

I saw that today, but none of the stories have anything beyond just that -- OMG REAL. I couldn't even find any actual sources. Have you seen anything with any vaguely plausible details? I feel like he probably will leave, but definitely not in the winter, unless they're going to drop an obscene amount of money on him.

Ahahhaha yes! Like Dzemaili does. Or did, until he got to Italy and started mooning after Pirlo. *sigh* Kids these days are so fickle.
