[It hadn't taken long for Yuan to notice she was gone. Despite that he'd secured a safe place for her and Cooro to stay, she'd vanished in the chaos. Whatever personal belongings were still left in their ruined house had disappeared as well. All that was left were her last messages, etched into the wall of her room. Not that he cared much what they ( Read more... )

[Sheena only knows something's up when she sees Celsius standing guard outside the house. This particular summon spirit must be absolutely detesting this heat wave. She's curious, and Undine follows her over, but for now it's just to see what's up and...well, why Celsius is here but Yuan doesn't seem to be.]

[Celsius turns to face Sheena, one hand placed on her hip leisurely. It is a little hot for her, but she can deal. The Summon Spirit of Ice is one tough cookie.]

Sheena. It is good to see you.

Yeah, you too. [And Undine gives her a nod of acknowledgement.] It's kinda weird to see you, all of you, hanging around out in the open for so long...but it's reassuring.

So what's going on? ...This is Yuan's house, right?

[Celsius nods curtly in response to that second question.]

Lady Martel was sent home.

[He doesn't feel like writing down a response to that, so he'll just give a soft "Hm" of recognition.]

Would you like some company, Yuan?

No.

[That's what he claims, but what he really means is... Well, yeah, he really doesn't want company.]

[she almost argues, but decides against. He probably needs time to himself.] All right. If you need anything, Yuan, anything at all, give me a call. [there's a brief pause]

I'm... I'm sorry.

[Usagi knows him pretty well by now, and he's thankful for that.] ... It's fine. I'm... I'll be fine.

[After reading that message and lots of debating and then more procrastinating, Zoisite will be heading over to see how you're doing, more or less hoping he hasn't taken off into the woods because then this is a lost cause and he's going back home.

He stops once he sees miss Tall Blue and Icy, though.]

[Celsius was just about to have a seat on a large, throne-like icicle when Zoisite comes into view. She won't be making herself comfortable just yet, now. Instead, she cocks her head to the side.]

State your business.

[so rather than hiding he's gotten guards. a step up! at least he's not out in the middle of nowhere getting hypothermia.] I'm here to make sure he's still in one piece.

[He'd considered leaving the village and its festering chaos behind, actually, but then he realized it wouldn't be fair to Cooro if he disappeared for days on end. Well, that and he doesn't want to look like a complete coward in front of Celsius. Now he's just half a coward.

Celsius snorts lightly, crossing her arms across her chest.]

I cannot let you pass. Rest assured, he hasn't done anything to harm himself.

[At some point when things have calmed down a bit -or when she's too exhausted to continue taming Eidolons- Rydia will check in...and stare at the message for a long moment. After a moment, she'll write, though her hand writing is a bit unsteady from weariness.]

Thank you for passing on the news. I'll miss her.
