I'm all for shooting down the legislature in Uganda (I cannot fathom the hatred that's prompting this sort of godawful law) however that website makes me extremely leery. I honestly don't like the look of it, and I'd suggest googling more about it before anyone donates anything about it. It's setting off a lot of "scam" warnings in my head; whether it's an outright scam or whether it doesn't present the majority of the funds it raises towards the cause it claims to champion, I don't know, I don't have enough time to do a proper google search at the moment.
I'm sure your heart's in the right place, but don't trust FWD emails, ever, and always do your research before donating to any charity. Look at what happened to a bunch of people who donated to Wyclef Jean's charity! Just be careful, and that's my advice to everyone on here.
(Also I found a thing on google that says their security might be breached, so be careful about signing the petition too.)
