I love this fic so much. The dialogue is just great - Robert's comment about Shireen's birth, the things Stannis said after she was born, Stannis demanding that Davos tell him the truth ... I also really like this idea of them just sitting together in silence; I always imagined that they would do that a lot. And the UST at the end just kills me. I can so imagine Stannis doing that, touching Davos when he thinks Davos is asleep, all shy and feeling so very guilty about it. Perfect. I can't wait for a sequel, especially if they finally do something about that UST. :D

THANK YOU! I was so intimidated by your AMAZING fics on them, I'm so glad that you liked it. And yeah- I'm excited to write a sequel. These two are so challenging because they are just so incredibly close and yet always just distant enough (almost is a force desperate way) that it is a challenge to even get them close to an intimate situation, and at the same time too easy, but I guess that's the whole point :)

Thank you, and don't ever feel intimidated. :D I'm always just happy to see more fics about them. I remember when I first joined the fandom and there were ... five Stannis/Davos fics, I believe? It was terrible.

Yes, it's so hard to get them to do anything but hold hands and give each other longing looks. I think the only time I managed to write porn for them is when I just skipped the context and didn't worry about how that happened. ;) So I'm definitely looking forward to your sequel. :)
