Feeling a little frustrated. Two largish pieces in the work and the writing fairy has done a bunk. Guess she wasn't too prepared for a huge dose of reality; can't say I blame her.

She'll be back! Fairies are notoriously fickle, after all! *G* Even if you don't have the mental space until after you're moved, that's fine. You have a lot to do in the next few weeks!

You sound like you're having a busy time and the writing fairy is probably trying to give you a break in her own special way :-) rather annoying when it happens though

I hope you get everything sorted soon and the writing fairy returns in all her glory. Good writing is worth the wait from the readers point of view :-)

No worries. The fics can wait. You can always jot stuff down for yourself alone if the fairies pay a visit, you don't need to share with us until you're ready. We can wait even longer that 40 days if necessary.

They say that moving house is one of the three most stressful things a person can go through, so hang on in there. You have a home of your own no-one can take away from you and you can do what you like with. And you and your little one are safe and you are free!

You look after you and yours and you never know, when the writing fairy returns she may have taken inspiration from the move! We can wait xxx

Congratulations on being a free agent - and on the house! It may be stressful, but it also sounds exciting. Moving on with the next stage of your life :)

Fic will wait - and I know very well how frustrating it can be when you don't have time or energy to write, or the muse just isn't cooperating. Don't feel under pressure to give us fic; we'll wait. Impatiently, maybe, but we'll wait all the same!

Thanks peeps. This will be my third move in three years with child in tow and so grateful it will be the last. Sometimes I think I should follow asparagusmama's example and take a complete break from cyberspace, but this - LJ & Twitter primarily - is (sadly, some may think) where I have the majority of meaningful interactions with others. So many like minds who don't view me as weird. So I will keep popping in and out. :)
