Shattered Glass [OTA]

After beating the hell out of one of the walls, getting his hand wrapped up, and talking to Tandy; Scott knew they had to start organizing again. He walked along the hallway of the second floor, assessing how much damage was truely done. So many of the walls had holes and windows were shattered. He'd even found a body. Scott wasn't sure who the ( Read more... )

Crystal's phone rang again. It hadn't stopped since Martini had disappeared and even then, her mother had texted her four times. Each of her aunts called at least three times and left two different voice-mails, now her mother hadn't stopped calling her since her Aunt Meredith left Crystal a scolding message ordering her to answer her phone or she was going to send Jordan after her. So she put her phone on silent and had left it hidden beneath her pillow in her room. She couldn't talk to her mother - she'd cry.

Each scent the house was stained with Martini's, and Martini's own scent was in the strangest of places, and it made Crystal want to sneeze. Each scent of blood, tear, sweat - it blended together and made her cringe. But she had to keep busy, or else she'd start shaking again. She stepped over shards of broken wood and heard Scott's voice, looking up suddenly. She didn't even notice him.

Tip toeing she inched to his room and pushed the door open with her finger tips, scanning over the room.

"Whoa..."

Scott heard the shocked tone of Crystal's voice and turned to look at her. His mind flashed back to what Martini did to her and he looked to the floor, putting his head in his hands. The memory just wouldn't stop and he felt himself getting kind of sick to his stomach. Scott let out a small groan as he pushed his hands back o his hair.

Crystal stepped into the room and looked up, around then back to Scott when he groaned. She bit her lip and moved over to sit next to him on his bed, not exactly sure what to say. She kept her hands clasped together on her knees, it kept them from shaking too obviously.

He let his hands drop and directed his glance to the ceiling. Even the ceiling looked a little...cracked. Letting out a sigh, Scott said, "It's like... It's burned into my head. What he did." On the bright side, it wasn't making him burn holes into anything like when it first happened.

Ric was.... well to put it politely he was absolutely fuming, livid, angry. There were several very rude and highly inappropriate words that he wanted to include in that summary but really he was trying his hardest to keep calm...

Fuck that for a merry laugh! He had trashed his side of the shared room; hurtling the nearest objects he could lay his hands on, which at first happened to be his mobile phone. He'd watched on in pleasure as it shattered into pieces and felt a little of that anger he's been bottling release... the phone was shortly followed by several photo frames, a pillow off of the bed and then whatever else he could lay his hands on ( ... )

Scott jumped up from the bed when he head the knock, followed by the shout. "Wha-? Who is it?" he asked timidly. The person sounded angry. Most likely at him for the whole Martini situation, he assumed.

"Julio Richter... just open the god damned door kid." Ric eased off of the yelling, noting how jumpy Scott had sounded through the door. He was still grumbling but (for the moment) he was going to keep his anger in check because although a part of him did blame Scott for this whole situation he knew it wasn't completely his fault.

Hopefully he'd remember that and not punch the kid.

Hopefully.

Carefully, he moved over to the door and opened it a crack to peek out at Rictor. "Uh...hi?" Scott gave a weak smile. "Are you... Do you need something?" Things were going to hell and Scott was the focal point of the blame. He knew this much. He'd already heard Jean was in a fit of rage because of what happened. Any more angry people and he might be running from a mob. Again.

Warren had checked to see who was around. Out of everyone that had been at the house... Bobby, Alex, Penelope and Ashley were missing. He was already trying to locate Sam's parents to tell them that their son had been killed.

He glanced up from his cell with one of his father's assistants seeing Scott. "Yeah, send me the information I'll check my email later for it, and get the contractors I hired to clean up the place. Yes I mean today. I want them starting on the place asap, And get them to design for earthquakes. Yes I'm serious." Hanging up he went to catch up with Scott.

"Hey... Scott, it'll be dealt with really, I have people on it. You just have to worry about helping me get the others back okay?"

"Regular people?" He didn't mean to sound so snappy, but if normal people went after Martini...there would just be more problems. They could end up dealing with something bigger than they thought.

"They'll call me when they locate them. No one will move in." He sighed. "They'll get as many normal people away from the area quietly so that it'll be safer on everyone. We don't need to get anyone hurt."
