[What's this? Lambda's finally using his journal? Well, it certainly isn't voluntarily. Apparently the book fell open to the floor and shows a nice view of the ceiling. What's heard in the background is a thud, the shattering of glass and finally a loud, drawn-out, boyish scream. There's a note of fury in there, if you listen carefully enough

[It was hard to ignore that shattering of glass, and the loud scream. Asbel came running, concerned something might have happened.]

[Of course, what happened was definitely cause for concern. Lambda was missing, his room a wreck.]

[Richard recognized that scream right away - he'd never be able to mistake that voice for anyone else - and is out of the house and racing towards House 28 just as fast as his legs can carry him, bursting in through the door without so much as an "excuse me."]
