Today over lunch, the Sylar thread at TWoP continued to be too IQ-deadening to read, so I decided to start catching up on the Hoyay thread. And I discovered something I haven't seen or heard of before. About 3 weeks ago, ibroketuesday posted a link to a Very Special Post in weaselistic's LJ

Haha, that pretty much sums up most Heroes-related discussion outside of people's personal LJ. It's the same reason why I could never join the comm for Heros_sylar or whatever it's called, the only people who post are the tweens and whatever shit they are on, I don't want any. I'm almost developing a hatred for those who like Sylar because Zachary is hot that even rivals my hate for those worship Bennett/hate Mohinder and those who want Sylar dead because they are bitter Peter/Mohinder shippers, Saya shippers, or the people who think only the good people should live on a TV show.
And for something much less bitter, I too enjoy Supernatural, even though I can't stand the new brunette they have as a love interest for Dean.

In TWoP's defense, the disappearance of quality discussion really is anomalous; usually the caliber of discussion with regard to Heroes is very high. I guess it's the hiatus screwing with everyone... or not; I have no idea. Maybe it's hard to discuss a show when it went out on such a flat note.

I think I mentioned that somewhere else as well; a lot of fans that usually contributed interesting discussions have left fandom. I hope it's not permanent.

...I watch Supernatural. I LOLed. XD (That reminds me, I still need to watch 3x08. Will keep an eye out for more of Mohinder's wardrobe.)

Now I'm imagining the wardrobe sharing going both ways. Sam's purple unicorn whippet shirt, maybe? Mohinder might be able to work it.

I never really cared for either of the Brothers Winchester. It was Metallicar that sucked me in. And then when that air conditioner burst into flames as Sam just sat there protesting that he didn't do anything...I completely lost it. That was when I really really started liking the show. Unfortunately, I was on the phone with my mother during a certain scene in 3x08 that made me scream out loud, and then I had to explain the horrible thing I'd just seen, and that yes, that horrible thing really did occur during the Christmas episode

I just realized I never noticed Sam's clothing before. I am going to watch out for Mohinder's wardrobe on Supernatural from now on,lol.

And the shows aren't even on the same network! It makes me wonder if the CW is on such a tight budget that their costume designers have to go dumpster-diving over at NBC...

This gives me lulz every time I even think about. I fully approve of your crack-theory, especially since it means that to get that fugly striped shirt, Sylar would have has to return to Mohinder's apartment at some point. I guess the jacket wasn't enough?

Oy. I gotta say, the Sylar thread has been totally derailed by the Daddy Sylar Pls discussion. What happened to the hyperanalytical Sylar thread of yore? Can it come back soon please?
