A quick irritation

Something suddenly triggered my brain to remember this, and I'm even more irritated than I was at the time it happened.

My phone rang at exactly 8:00 pm this evening.  It was my mother.  I answered it and had this exchange:

Mom: What are you doing?
Me: I'm watching Moonlight.  It's gotten pretty fun to watch.  Plus, I have to take notes for the

Oh, I wish I could do that. But my mom will then call every 15 minutes, and if she doesn't get ahold of me before she goes to bed, she'll demand that my dad keep on calling me. So I just leave the phone on to make life easier on my dad. LOL
