I've heard of this show (the remake) and find the concept curiously intriguing. Do you know when it starts up?

I'm sorry I took so long to reply - we had a horrible heat wave (103 degrees F) and my computer was not in the one air-conditioned bedroom, so I haven't been answering comments for a couple of days...

It looks like the show is premiering in the US on FX on June 23. I browsed some articles about it and they seem mostly positive, so I'm hoping it ends up being worthwhile.

I'm doing OK. I keep meaning to do a "what's been going on in my life" post, but there has been so much going on, I never seem to find time. Ah, the paradox... I hope you're doing well! I come by LJ very irregularly - sometimes every day for a week, but then not for two weeks - but I always read your posts and hope you're doing well.

I am so antsy to have a new show to feel fannishabout that I can't even handle it. :( I had Alias from 2003--2006. Then Heroes from 2006--2009. Then Lost from 2008--now, but it ended a year ago and there's only so long you can stay on that (especially when half the audience now gets violent with rage every time it's mentioned---and you can never tell in advance which camp any individual falls into, so it's best never to mention it). This has been a rather bleak year, obsession-wise. There are some interesting-looking shows coming in the fall/January, so we will see.

I've heard that Elijah has a new show, but I had zero idea what it was about. That's so cracked out of a premise that I sort of want to watch it. It could be great. Though I already feel ill anticipating the deluge of Elijah/Wilfred nc17 fanfic.

I really can't tell whether I should get my hopes up over this. I have to admit that my interest doubled after I saw the promo that I posted here; the commercials on basic cable haven't included the fact that Elijah Wood's character has been trying to commit suicide, and that gave me enough drama to be interested in WHY he might bond with this filthy insane guy-in-a-dog-costume. I shall REALLY be interested if the show winds up being more about Elijah and Wilfred, and not about Elijah wanting to date Wilfred's owner.

Though I already feel ill anticipating the deluge of Elijah/Wilfred nc17 fanfic.
