Not enough me time in a week...

This past week was tough, in an (eye-rolling) "I'm *soooo* tormented to have tough weeks like this" sort of way. Sunday, VFW dancing. Monday, westie lessons. Tuesday, NDF hang-out-in-the-game-store time (got some good painting started, first time in about 8 months I've even picked up a brush!). Wednesday, movie (and hot tub!) night. Friday,

I have changed my life balance motto from "work hard, play hard" to "work hard, play hard, vegetate hard". It's really working for me. I don't allow myself to be guilty for bailing on stuff to sit at my house and not talk to people :) As you see plenty of! For example, on this NYC visit I am taking several 'day times' to sit and play on the computer/read books in my friend's apartment and also to go to museums by myself.

Good for you! I've been working on the "me" time, also.
