Bookmarking

Ugh. So, okay, people of the internet (or at least my flist). Do you know if Pinboard is the best bookmarking site out there? Google bookmarks is okay, but it's a little clunky, although I suppose I might just need to learn to use it with a little more finesse. I don't need a social bookmarking site, necessarily, I just want to be able to search

Well, the last time Delicious fucked up all my bookmarks, made my tags unusable, and generally made me scream, I lost it and forked out the 10$ for Pinboard, and, honestly, I've never looked back

Thanks for the info! This is all really good to know, and I totally agree with you about being pissed at Delicious. Stupid people: making our lives harder since forever. *sighs*

Well, I don't really need a social site, so much. I just need someplace to bookmark my favorite fics, recipes, and various other things that I want to have a convenient link to. So far I've been managing with my Firefox bookmarks, but I have so many that it's incredibly unwieldy, and it's really hard to search unless I remember the author or title of a specific fic. Sometimes I just want to be able to click on "bandom" and "superhero au" and see what comes up, you know?
